Job Overview:
The FSL Program Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic orientation, diagnosis, and project Design within the organization. The position involves ensuring project relevance, quality, and design, as well as overseeing implementation and operational monitoring. The manager will also be responsible for Human Resources management, capitalization, and institutional knowledge building, along with reporting, communication, and representation. In the initial months, the focus will be on implementing food security and Agricultural Development activities, conducting ongoing assessments, liaising with the Rehabilitation Department, and launching a cash program with prior assessments and stakeholder engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The FSL Program Manager will have a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Supporting strategic orientation and project design, ensuring relevance and quality.
- Overseeing the implementation and operational monitoring of projects.
- Managing human resources, including recruiting, training, and supervising team members.
- Conducting ongoing assessments and evaluations of food security and agricultural development activities.
- Liaising with the Rehabilitation Department to support farmers and improve irrigation systems.
- Launching and managing cash programs, ensuring proper assessments and stakeholder engagement.
- Reporting on project progress and outcomes, maintaining communication with stakeholders.
- Building institutional knowledge and capacity within the team and local communities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a specific degree in the agricultural sector and development, along with a bachelor's degree in project management, development studies, international relations, or a related field. Additionally, a minimum of three years of experience with an international non-governmental organization (INGO) in humanitarian project management, particularly in food security and livelihoods, is required. Experience managing programs specifically linked to the agricultural sector is essential, and prior experience with Solidarités International is a plus. Candidates should also have experience in Human Resources Management and working in volatile security contexts.
Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a specific degree in the agricultural sector and development, as well as a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as project management, development studies, or international relations.
