Job Overview:
The Digital Program Specialist – Business Analysis (Risk Management) plays a crucial role in bridging the Information Technology Department (ITD) and the Risk Management Department (RMD) at AIIB. This position involves conducting IT business analysis activities to support the Bank's risk management initiatives. The specialist will collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and optimize business processes, assess digital capabilities, and address technology gaps. The role is essential for ensuring that risk management requests are met promptly and align with industry best practices. The specialist will also provide guidance on emerging trends in risk management applications, contributing to the success of the Bank's risk management framework and operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Digital Program Specialist include:
- Acting as a liaison between ITD and RMD, serving as a subject matter expert in risk management.
- Collaborating with various teams across the Bank to understand diverse perspectives and identify opportunities for refining risk management applications and processes.
- Optimizing demand analysis, requirements prioritization, solution evaluation, and delivery of risk management solutions to meet stakeholder demands.
- Supporting Project Managers in business analysis activities to develop systems and solutions for risk management applications, ensuring effectiveness and usability.
- Leading the gathering and prioritization of business requirements, conducting business process modeling, impact analysis, and feasibility studies.
- Supporting solution Design and full project cycle delivery.
- Providing guidance and training to management and staff on adapting risk management applications to operational needs.
- Working closely with IT teams to ensure comprehensive coverage of IT requirements during the rollout of new products and services.
- Ensuring compliance with IT governance processes and AIIB’s audit and control requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess substantive knowledge in risk management, demonstrated through education and experience. They should have a solid understanding of the risk management framework and its integration into the risk management portfolio. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging stakeholders and defining expectations. Execution skills are necessary for consistently delivering programs and services while meeting quality and timing standards. Targeted specialized knowledge is required, including a university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Candidates should have a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant professional IT experience, particularly in risk management functions within a Banking environment.
