Job Overview:
The position of Coordinateur/trice des Ressources Humaines involves overseeing the Human Resources management of ALIMA's mission. The role requires ensuring compliance with local labor laws and ALIMA's administrative framework. The incumbent will be responsible for defining, adapting, planning, and supervising the implementation of HR policies, contributing to the mission's objectives, and acting as a legal Advisor on HR matters. This position is crucial for maintaining the operational capacity of the mission by managing recruitment, training, and performance evaluation processes, while also fostering a positive work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administrative Management of the Mission: Oversee all administrative matters related to human resources, ensuring compliance with local laws and ALIMA's internal policies.
- Personnel Dossier Management: Ensure the completeness and quality of personnel files and maintain efficient contract tracking systems.
- Compensation and Payroll: Define and coordinate the implementation of the mission's remuneration policy, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- International Personnel Administration: Manage international staff movements, ensuring all legal documentation is in order.
- HR Strategy and Team Composition: Actively participate in defining HR strategies to ensure the mission has the necessary skills and capacities.
- Recruitment, Performance, and Career Development: Ensure rigorous application of recruitment policies, manage onboarding processes, and oversee performance evaluation systems.
- Team Management: Build and lead the HR team, providing training and support to enhance their skills.
- Reporting: Extract and report monthly HR indicators to the headquarters.
- Prevention of Abuse: Implement measures to prevent abuse and ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in law, administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field. They should have prior experience in humanitarian settings, particularly in administrative roles or as HR professionals. Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in HR software are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate excellent written communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in multicultural environments.
Educational Background:
A Master's degree in law, administration, human resources management, or a related field is required. Equivalent qualifications may also be considered.
Experience:
A minimum of two previous experiences in humanitarian roles, particularly in administrative project management or as an HR professional, is required. Experience in Emergency contexts and managing multicultural teams is highly desirable.
Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, while knowledge of English is considered an asset.
Additional Notes:
The position is a fixed-term contract for 12 months with the possibility of renewal. The start date is immediate.
