Job Overview:
The Junior AI Solutions Analyst plays a crucial role within the Enablement Unit of the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit (VPU) at the World Bank Group. This position is designed to support the AI Studio, which acts as a bridge between the organization's various business units and the rapidly evolving field of AI-enabled citizen development. The analyst will work under the guidance of the AI Enablement Lead, assisting staff in conceptualizing, building, and scaling AI-driven solutions. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of responsible innovation, guiding teams through a structured prototyping process that includes stages such as Discover, Design, Build, and Evaluate. The analyst will also be responsible for ensuring that the solutions developed are aligned with the organization's goals and adhere to governance frameworks.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Junior AI Solutions Analyst will have a diverse set of responsibilities that include: A. Solution Design: Translating business needs into simple, implementable AI solutions, sharing knowledge on the effective use of existing tools such as mAI, Copilot, and data platforms, advising teams on appropriate technical solutions, and collaborating with teams to create lightweight solution architectures without overengineering. B. AI Studio Pipeline: Supporting the intake and scoping of use cases to ensure that solutions effectively address business needs, assessing the feasibility, complexity, and tool fit of proposed solutions, and guiding use cases from the idea stage through to prototype and deployment. C. Tool Alignment: Determining the appropriate tools to use for various projects and promoting standard approaches and reuse of solutions. D. Governance Risk: Ensuring that all solutions comply with data privacy and confidentiality rules, adhere to AI governance and risk guidelines, and embed human-in-the-loop processes where necessary. E. Build Oversight Deployment: Guiding and mentoring teams during the development phase, ensuring that the solutions are functional, scalable, and easy to maintain, and supporting the rollout and adoption of these solutions across the organization.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Junior AI Solutions Analyst position should possess a strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in business contexts. They should have experience in solution design and development, particularly in translating complex business needs into practical AI solutions. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and AI governance frameworks is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, enabling them to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is required for this position. Advanced degrees or certifications in AI, machine learning, or data analytics would be advantageous and may enhance a candidate's qualifications.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least 1-3 years of relevant experience in AI solution development, data analysis, or a related field. Experience working in a collaborative environment and supporting cross-functional teams in technology-driven projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with prototyping methodologies and agile development practices will be beneficial.

Languages:
Proficiency in English is mandatory for this position, as it is the primary language of communication within the World Bank Group. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly those relevant to the regions in which the World Bank operates, would be considered a plus and could enhance a candidate's profile.
