Job Overview:
The ET Consultant position at the World Bank Group is designed for an experienced Research Librarian who will provide essential research and reference services to support the organization's mission. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the ET Consultant include conducting comprehensive research across development sectors and investment industries, responding to client inquiries with high-quality reference and document delivery services, and preparing research outputs such as reports and literature reviews. The consultant will also support AI-related research activities, assist in evaluating AI-generated information, and contribute to the development of research guides aligned with the World Bank's knowledge priorities. Additionally, the role involves data analysis and reporting, collaboration with various stakeholders, and participation in the maintenance of library resources and services. The consultant will be expected to manage multiple requests efficiently while ensuring adherence to service level expectations.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the ET Consultant position must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or a related field, along with at least two years of relevant experience. They should have a strong background in providing research and reference services to diverse clients and be knowledgeable about various research tools and databases. Proficiency in Integrated Library Systems and experience with case management systems are essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and deliver high-quality outputs.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or an equivalent field. This educational foundation should be complemented by relevant experience in library services or information management, ensuring that the candidate is well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of the role effectively.

Experience:
