Job Overview:
The Senior Program Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of the WBG Chief Risk Officer Vice Presidency (CROVP) and ensuring the efficient operation of the Director's office and the entire department. This position requires a highly motivated and well-organized individual who can manage various administrative and support services across different verticals of the CROVP. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and project management skills, handle multiple concurrent activities, and navigate a fast-paced work environment effectively. The role involves providing high-level executive support, managing the Director's calendar, coordinating travel, and prioritizing workflow to resolve scheduling conflicts. Additionally, the Senior Program Assistant will lead and coordinate the department's administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with organizational standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Program Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: providing high-level executive and administrative support to the Director, managing calendar appointments, coordinating mission travel, and resolving scheduling conflicts. The role also involves screening and prioritizing internal and external inquiries, leading the department's administrative functions such as budget management, HR coordination, and office space management. The Assistant will plan and coordinate logistics for departmental meetings and events, monitor budget execution, prepare meeting documents, and support procurement processes. Additionally, the Senior Program Assistant will maintain internal quality control mechanisms, manage multiple priorities, and serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and cooperation within the department.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Senior Program Assistant position should possess strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle competing demands in a dynamic environment. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should demonstrate sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive or confidential matters.
