Job Overview:
The Senior Workday Specialist, Recruiting & Talent is a pivotal role within the global HR team at WRI, responsible for the functional ownership of the Workday Recruiting and Talent modules across various country offices including those in Africa, Brazil, China, Colombia, Europe, India, Indonesia, Mexico, and the US. This position requires a hands-on approach to manage and optimize the Workday system, ensuring it effectively supports the organization's hiring processes and talent management strategies. The specialist will work closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and regional HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions. The role also involves driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing the bi-annual Workday release cycle, and providing expert support to users across multiple global time zones, necessitating flexibility in working hours to facilitate collaboration with stakeholders, particularly in Europe.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Workday Specialist include managing the end-to-end Workday Recruiting module, which encompasses job requisitions, job postings, candidate configurations, and interview workflows. Additionally, the specialist will oversee the Workday Talent Optimization module, focusing on performance management and reporting, and will be responsible for maintaining business processes and dashboards in alignment with global standards. The role also involves identifying opportunities for system optimization and automation, leading the Workday release cycle, and maintaining training documentation and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security models. Furthermore, the specialist will partner with various teams to gather requirements and configure solutions that accommodate local nuances while adhering to the global model. Providing expert support and training to HR teams and ensuring effective communication of new features and processes are also key responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, with relevant work experience considered in lieu of a degree. A Workday Pro certification in Recruiting and/or Talent is preferred. The role requires a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM configuration, specifically in the Recruiting and Talent modules, along with subject-matter expertise in configuring job posting templates and workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset are essential for success in this position.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Candidates with relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A Workday Pro certification in Recruiting and/or Talent is preferred, indicating a recognized level of expertise in the Workday system.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM configuration, with at least 3 years focused on the Recruiting and Talent modules. Candidates should have experience supporting HR teams across multiple countries and time zones, demonstrating the ability to balance global standards with local requirements. Experience in contributing to Workday transformation and optimization projects is also essential, along with strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.

Languages:
Verbal and written proficiency in English is mandatory for this position. While not required, exposure to adjacent Workday modules and familiarity with ATS-adjacent tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter are considered advantageous.

Additional Notes:
This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of eight days per month in the office, with an expectation to work in the office at least four days per week during the probation period. The role is based in New Delhi, and applicants must have existing work authorization in India at the time of application. The potential salary ranges from INR 1,800,000 to INR 2,400,000 CTC per annum, commensurate with experience and skills.
