Job Overview:
The Analyst, Corporate Events and Annual Meetings plays a crucial role in the planning, management, and execution of various high-profile events hosted by the EBRD. This includes Board-related meetings, retreats, conferences, cultural events, and awards ceremonies. The position requires a high level of interaction with external stakeholders such as ministries, embassies, and other international financial institutions, as well as internal collaboration with senior management and various departments within the EBRD. The Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all events are executed smoothly, adhering to the Bank's policies and protocols, and providing guidance on virtual and hybrid event solutions. The role also involves training and supervising temporary staff engaged in these events, ensuring that they are well-prepared and supported throughout the process.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Analyst will manage the scheduling of events in high-priority spaces, take ownership of planning and delivering Board and Committee meetings, and engage with stakeholders to improve project management processes. Responsibilities include providing expert guidance on the organizational and logistical aspects of corporate events, managing high-priority events at the Bank's HQ, maintaining relationships with stakeholders, setting up virtual/hybrid meetings, managing budgets, and recruiting and training temporary staff. The Analyst will also work closely with the Associate Director on Annual Meetings, preparing detailed guidance for the Board of Governors, leading the planning and delivery of various sessions, and managing post-event evaluations and reports.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in Event Management, Public Relations, or Marketing, along with at least five years of professional experience in organizing large-scale international events. A good knowledge of International Financial Institutions is preferred, along with strong project management and budgeting skills. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS365 and virtual event tools, is essential. Candidates should also have extensive knowledge of conference technology, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. A good understanding of the EBRD's mandate is also important.

Educational Background:
A university degree in a relevant field such as Event Management, Public Relations, or Marketing is required for this position. This educational background provides the necessary foundation for understanding the complexities of organizing corporate events and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

Experience:
The position requires at least five years of professional experience in organizing large-scale international events. This experience should ideally encompass both governmental and private sector dimensions, demonstrating the candidate's ability to navigate the complexities of high-profile events and manage diverse stakeholder expectations.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory for this role. Knowledge of other official languages of the EBRD is considered an advantage, as it may enhance communication with a broader range of stakeholders and contribute to the effectiveness of event management.
