Job Overview: The Recruitment Consultant will play a crucial role in driving and coordinating the end-to-end talent acquisition activities for UNFPA, particularly in relation to the organizational restructuring of relevant Country Offices. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Recruitment Consultant include: coordinating and managing the end-to-end recruitment and selection process for positions affected by realignment exercises; reviewing and finalizing job descriptions in collaboration with Country Offices and hiring managers; conducting application screenings and managing assessments, including written assessments and competency-based interviews; supporting the compilation of recruitment information for meetings; coordinating assessment scoring panels and interview schedules; taking detailed interview notes and compiling assessment results; preparing selection reports and maintaining accurate recruitment files; tracking recruitment progress and identifying risks; capturing lessons learned and contributing to post-implementation reporting; and performing other HR duties as required by management.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for this position include a completed advanced university degree (Master's) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Alternatively, a completed Bachelor's degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in end-to-end recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR management. A proven track record in supporting organizational change management and high-volume recruitment exercises is essential. Familiarity with UNFPA policies and procedures is highly desirable, along with proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems and HR data analytics.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess an advanced university degree (Master's) in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Psychology. A Bachelor's degree may be acceptable if accompanied by additional qualifying experience. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of recruitment and HR management within an international organization.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in recruitment and talent acquisition. Candidates should have experience in managing recruitment processes, supporting organizational change, and conducting high-volume recruitment exercises. Additional Notes: The consultancy is set to last from July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, with an initial period of 6 months and a maximum of 30 days for each assignment. The services will be delivered remotely, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements. Regular monitoring and reporting will be required, including bi-weekly update reports to the Regional HR Team.
