Job Overview:
The position of Extended Term Consultant (ETC) for Investment Analyst in Infrastructure at IFC involves supporting the structuring and execution of infrastructure investment transactions, including project finance, corporate finance, equity, and hybrid instruments. The role is crucial for managing portfolio investments and requires the appointee to engage in infrastructure projects primarily in Brazil, while also being part of the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) team. The Analyst will be responsible for performing financial modeling, conducting market research, and participating in negotiations, all while working closely with a small team. The position offers opportunities for client exposure and involvement in decision-making processes, making it a dynamic role within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the E T Consultant, Investment Analyst include: reviewing and analyzing historical and projected financial statements; creating and analyzing financial models; conducting industry, integrity (KYC), and market research; assisting in IFC's business development efforts; preparing reports based on financial statements and project progress; elaborating indicative proposals for potential clients; supporting the structuring of new transactions; preparing investment committee materials; evaluating, structuring, negotiating, and closing new transactions; preparing documentation for internal processes; providing analytical support in negotiations; monitoring investments for compliance with financial, environmental, insurance, and legal requirements; supporting portfolio investments; participating in due diligence processes; and engaging with clients’ operations.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, or Engineering. They should have the ability to conduct business in both English and Portuguese, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in project finance, private equity, investment banking, or infrastructure. Strong knowledge of Excel and financial modeling is essential, along with the ability to analyze financial information. Candidates should be highly motivated, willing to travel, and committed to ethical standards, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Highly desirable qualifications include experience in infrastructure transactions in LAC, project finance modeling experience, Level 1 or higher CFA certification, and familiarity with AI tools for work automation.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a concentration in Finance, Business, Economics, or Engineering being preferred. Experience:

Languages:
