Job Overview: The position of Webinar Production & Multilingual Events Specialist(s) is a long-term consultancy role that will commence in July 2026 and conclude in December 203
The specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a 12-part webinar series as part of the BRACE programme, which aims to bridge education and climate action globally. This role requires a contractor or organization with proven expertise in multilingual webinar production and international virtual events management. The specialist will ensure that all technical, logistical, production, and linguistic aspects of the webinars are handled professionally, providing a polished and accessible experience for a high-profile global audience. The contractor will work closely with Save the Children Australia to implement the content direction, including theme selection, speaker identification, and agenda design, while also managing the technical delivery and ensuring high-quality virtual events.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Webinar Production & Multilingual Events Specialist(s) include:
Platform & Branding: Managing the webinar platform and ensuring all materials are branded appropriately.
Event Planning & Invitations: Coordinating the planning of events and sending out invitations to participants.
Speaker Management: Handling all aspects of speaker engagement, including briefing and preparation.
Slide Design & Presentation Materials: Assisting in the design of slides and other presentation materials for the webinars.
Interpretation & Captioning: Ensuring that interpretation and captioning services are provided as needed, including managing interpreters.
Live Production & Moderation: Overseeing the live production of the webinars, including moderation and technical support. The contractor must also ensure comprehensive post-production, including captioning, translated subtitles, and transcripts in all required languages.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must demonstrate extensive experience in delivering professional multilingual webinar series or virtual events at an international scale. They should have a proven track record of providing high-quality multilingual language access for international events, utilizing methods such as human Remote Simultaneous Interpretation (RSI), AI-assisted interpretation, or hybrid models. Additionally, candidates must show evidence of quality assurance processes for each approach used. Proficiency in AI literacy, particularly with AI-enabled tools for accessibility, captioning, transcription, and production efficiency, is essential. Experience with professional webinar platforms and post-production processes, including captioning and multilingual transcript production, is also required.
Educational Background: A relevant educational background in communications, event management, linguistics, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should possess qualifications that demonstrate their ability to manage complex virtual events and multilingual communication effectively.
Experience: The position requires significant experience in managing and delivering virtual events, particularly in a multilingual context. Candidates should have a history of working with international organizations and managing large-scale events that require high levels of coordination and technical expertise. Experience in using various webinar platforms and tools is essential, as is a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional proficiency in French, Spanish, and Arabic being highly desirable. Candidates should also have the capacity to provide Khmer interpretation when required for specific events, ensuring accessibility for all participants.
