Job Overview: The position of Responsable de Service Nutrition et Santé involves overseeing the relevance, quality, appropriateness, and development of health activities in ACF's intervention countries. Under the supervision of the Nutrition and Health Service Manager, the role requires animating health unit activities, proposing strategies, and implementing action plans for teams. The individual will serve as the technical focal point for health advocacy, ensuring the development of new approaches, medical protocols, and monitoring intervention strategies in collaboration with country offices. Additionally, the role includes facilitating the appropriation of these strategies among teams through training and dissemination. The candidate will also lead the process of capitalization and research in health, develop innovative approaches, conduct scientific monitoring, support the development and implementation of pilot projects, and contribute to writing articles for journals. Furthermore, the position entails providing technical and strategic support to missions upon request from operational technical referents and ensuring coordination, representation, and communication in the health domain both internally and externally.

Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess a background in health, such as a nurse, midwife, or physician, with a specialization in public health being highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years of experience in NGOs in related positions, particularly in field missions, is required. The candidate must demonstrate proven experience in team management, showcasing the ability to organize, plan, delegate, and mobilize team members towards common objectives. Adaptability to different interlocutors and socio-cultural contexts is essential, along with strong public speaking skills to represent the organization professionally.
Educational Background: Candidates should have a formal education in health-related fields, such as nursing, midwifery, or medicine. A specialization in public health is preferred, indicating a deeper understanding of health systems and interventions.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in non-governmental organizations, particularly in roles related to health services and field missions, is essential. The candidate should have a solid track record in team management and the ability to navigate complex health challenges in various contexts.
Languages: Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing communication with diverse stakeholders.
Additional Notes: The position is classified as a cadre integrated role with a fixed-term contract of 12 months, full-time. The workplace is located in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis). The salary ranges from 46,000 to 55,000 euros gross annually, depending on experience, with an additional seniority bonus after three years of service at the headquarters. Employees are entitled to 25 days of annual leave and 21 days of RTT (reduction of working time). Health coverage and insurance are provided, with 80% of costs covered by ACF. Salary maintenance provisions are in place for illness, maternity, and paternity. Transportation costs are partially reimbursed, and meal vouchers are provided with a 60% contribution from the organization. The organization also offers social benefits through the CSE, including gift vouchers and reimbursements for cultural activities. Remote work is permitted for all employees within metropolitan territory, with a requirement for two days of in-person presence at the office, in addition to mandatory collective presence for meetings and events (up to three days per month) and two days during team integration.
