Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Analytical Frameworks Developer include:
Developing analytical frameworks to identify hidden barriers to political participation, focusing on gender norms, social exclusion, and digital divides.
Conducting intersectional analysis of participation, considering factors such as gender, age, disability, and geography.
Performing social media analytics and digital listening to assess issues like gender-based online violence, misinformation, hate speech, and political polarization.
Evaluating parliamentary engagement with citizens, analyzing the accessibility and effectiveness of both formal and digital engagement channels.
Producing analytical outputs that explain patterns of inclusion and exclusion, providing insights to inform UNDP programming.
Conducting data validation and triangulation, ensuring the accuracy of publicly available information.
Contributing to the Pacific Women in Politics (PACWIP) initiative by developing insights on women's political participation and translating findings into accessible knowledge products.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop frameworks that capture complex social dynamics. Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods is essential, along with experience in social media analytics and digital engagement strategies. Familiarity with political participation issues, particularly in the context of marginalized groups, is highly desirable. Educational Background: A master's degree in social sciences, political science, public policy, or a related field is required.
