Job Overview: The Individual Contractor (IC) position is designed for a professional who will work under the supervision of the Economic Affairs Officer and the Head of ESCAP-SSWA. The role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of project management and communication. The IC will be responsible for updating the project website and e-learning modules, preparing reports, conducting surveys, and managing social media platforms. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Individual Contractor include: (i) Maintaining and updating the project website and online platforms to ensure they are current and user-friendly. (ii) Refining e-learning modules based on feedback from training sessions to enhance learning outcomes. (iii) Preparing and maintaining files and internal databases, generating periodic and ad-hoc reports, and preparing annual and survey reports, including statistical tables and graphic content. (iv) Conducting training surveys and preparing comprehensive reports on the findings. (v) Creating advocacy materials, including videos showcasing successful stories, and managing project social media platforms. (vi) Analyzing and summarizing project data, drafting agendas, programs, and reports based on feedback received from training activities. (vii) Assisting the project team with administrative tasks as needed, including drafting relevant materials for dissemination. (viii) Collecting and analyzing project data to prepare inputs for reports and other materials. (ix) Designing, conducting, and analyzing training surveys to assess effectiveness. (x) Developing communication materials and managing social media platforms to enhance project visibility. (xi) Conducting interviews and drafting human-centered stories to highlight project impact. (xii) Drafting knowledge products and supporting coordination and administrative tasks. (xiii) Developing and maintaining digital tools to improve platform functionality. (xiv) Setting up and managing data tracking and analytics tools to monitor project progress.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Individual Contractor position include a Bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering or political science. Candidates should possess more than one year of working experience in managing website and dashboard development. Additionally, experience in policy advocacy, public relations, and social media management is desirable.
