The American Heart Association (the Association) has a Temporary, Full-time opportunity for a Coordinator" id="link" class="link">Youth Market Coordinator located in Virginia. Under the direction of the Senior Vice President, the temporary Youth Market Coordinator completes a variety of tasks to support the needs of the business, particularly during peak times and leave of absences. Duties may include outbound phone calling to recruit new customers/schools, re-recruit customers/schools, and/or schedule appointments including VP/Director planning meetings. Data Management is a core responsibility with Data Entry into Microsoft Dynamics and other systems, along with researching schools/districts/campaigns/history. This position is a part-time, temporary (20 hours per week). This can be a remote position, located in your home office.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

  • Develop, input, and maintain information in appropriate Computer Software programs, including but not limited to SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics, to include data reporting. Performs data entry, data integrity, research, and data management.

  • Makes outbound phone calls to secure new and repeat customers to schedule appointments, and to complete needed research.

  • Coordinates volunteer planning meetings, as needed sending and writing correspondence and follow-up.

  • Establish and maintain outstanding customer service relations with schools, customers, and volunteers by providing professional and friendly assistance within best practice guidelines, with proactive resolution of issues or needs.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • No office experience required.

  • Must have at least basic knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office 2019 or higher used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets. These skills are subject to testing.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of American Heart Association staff, volunteers, and the public. This includes ability and willingness to build and cultivate relationships within and outside the American Heart Association. This also includes the ability to work collaboratively with others to use resources to achieve common goals.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to follow-up with individuals orally or in written correspondence.

  • Ability to be diplomatic, self-motivated, resourceful, tactful and flexible.

  • Knowledge of and skill in report preparation, proofreading and attention to detail.

  • Ability to function independently with minimal direction.

  • Ability to acquire understanding and absorb new information rapidly.

  • Must pass background check.
