Job Overview:
The Young Associate position within the Strategic Communications and Outreach Division of the OECD is designed for individuals who are eager to contribute to the development and execution of priority communications. The role involves researching, writing, editing, and delivering corporate communications products that effectively convey complex OECD messages to diverse audiences, including policymakers and the general public. The Young Associate will work closely with Strategic Communications Leads and will be responsible for producing high-quality communications materials that align with the OECD's strategic priorities as outlined in the Annual Communications Plan. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Young Associate will be tasked with several key responsibilities, including:
- Contributing to the ideation, proposal, and delivery of priority communications products and projects.
- Writing accurate, substantive, and compelling materials that effectively communicate complex OECD messages to various audiences.
- Editing communications materials drafted by OECD policy directorates to ensure accessibility and clarity for public audiences.
- Collaborating with the Digital Communications and Web Products Division to enhance the presentation of OECD work through innovative Data Visualization and digital products.
- Working with the Media, Social Media, and External Engagement Units to ensure consistent messaging across corporate communications materials.
- Providing end-to-end Coordination across the Directorate and the Organization to successfully deliver communications products and projects.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Young Associate position should possess the following qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in public policy, International Relations, communications, or a related discipline, with a graduation date between 1 January 2024 and 1 September 202
- Excellent writing and editing skills, particularly in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong research and analytical abilities to support the development of communications materials.
- Proficiency with digital communications tools is desirable, enhancing the ability to create engaging content.
Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes an undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as public policy, international relations, or communications. Candidates must be graduating between 1 January 2024 and 1 September 202
