We’re hiring a temporary Development Coordinator, Data Processing. The Development Coordinator, Data Processing provides support across the SouthWest region. The coordinator provides data and administrative support for core Fundraising events, including all Database Management and initial auditing. Duties include proper entry of sponsor pipelines and moves management, leadership and donor gifts and solicitations and all other event data.

This is a temporary position with an expected end date of December 31, 2023.

This is a home-office based position with location flexible within the states of the SouthWest region, including Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming.

We are currently hiring two full-time, temporary positions.

Responsibilities

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure accuracy and alignment to the latest Data Entry standards in our primary applications (Dynamics and Tableau). This includes completion of data points, accurate pipeline building, and event relationships.

  • Perform auditing on a scheduled basis to review data entry alignment by market, identify gaps in the data, and propose action steps to ensure all data is accurately recorded. This may lead to scheduling data entry check-ins with market staff and/or reinforcement of training to ensure understanding and future consistency.

  • Fulfill customer service requests from internal staff (i.e., software corrections, database receipting, pulling constituent records.

  • Serve as liaison to Campaign Systems Training and Web Design departments, staying on top of systems changes. Communicate updates in partnership with the Customer Information Systems Director.

  • Keep informed of current Association-related news and communicate to team members regional and national guidelines for relevant systems.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Minimum of 6 months of related office support experience in database management.

  • Intermediate knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office 2010 or higher used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets.

  • Knowledge of and skill in report preparation, proofreading and attention to detail.

  • Skill and ability in providing customer service, both written and verbal, at an excellent level to internal and external customers and partners.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact with people in a variety of positions and levels, both internally and externally.

  • Ability to be self-motivated, resourceful, and exhibit initiative.

  • Skill in tracking and leading multiple projects and timelines at one time.

  • Skill in coordinating and maintaining efficient record keeping, inventory/supply, and/or data Management Systems.

  • Non-profit experience a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Expected pay range will be $50,000 to $54,210. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
