The Stewardship Coordinator is a key member of the Stewardship team who provides Operational Support for the implementation of overall stewardship project initiatives. They will provide the support and Logistics functions necessary for excellent donor events, communications, and recognition programs. Responsibilities range from administrative tasks, Data Entry, event support, mailings, and managing reporting and critical database work. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, flexible, complete tasks with urgency, and able to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently. Reporting to the Director" id="link" class="link">Senior Director of Stewardship, this position is based in Atlanta, GA and is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
1. Administrative support for stewardship of CARE's donors.
o Manage the execution of donor mailings throughout the year to include CEO acknowledgement letters, Impact Magazine, holiday cards and other targeted stewardship communications.
o Manage information, data querying and reporting pertaining to mailings, sensitive donor information, and other projects that require attention to detail.
o Database (Salesforce) management of donor info, updates and reports. Becoming a 'super user' of CARE's donor database, Salesforce.
o Oversees donor recognition programs and ensures that all donors are acknowledged at the appropriate level. Assists in writing, proofreading and editing communications collateral for donors and for the website.
2. Event logistics and support.
o Support the administrative components of donor/external events and event planning including catering, RSVP management, creating invitations, and assisting with technology (NOTE - this will require occasional off-hours availability to attend events).
o Coordinates the Fundraising experience at the annual Impact Awards in New York City for all fundraising teams.
o Maintains and proactively prepares donor reports, data reports, and other key event information.
o Assists in drafting briefing documents, creating presentations, taking notes, and managing surveys and event after action reports.
o Ability to professionally interact with donors, board members, volunteers and prospects as needed.
Inter-unit collaborationSeeks and shares pertinent information (both for internal and external use) for the regional teams. Works in collaboration with Regional Coordinators to implement donor communications and outreach. Working closely with counterparts in other regions, other units within Resource Development like Planned Giving, prospect management, and others for best practices, message consistency and any interaction with the Office of the President. Maintaining close working relationships with other units to maximize CARE's resources and opportunities. Other duties as assigned.
May represent CARE at select community events. Other responsibilities as assigned to meet the objectives of the Stewardship Team.
