We're hiring a Region Senior Operations Director in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The primary responsibilities of this role include providing senior level administrative and executive support to the Executive Vice President (EVP) of the SouthWest region, supporting Board relations and meeting management, executing complex administrative support, managing complex timelines and initiatives relative to the EVP’s leadership presence at key meetings and moments, and ensuring the Executive Vice President is prepared and equipped to excel in their role.
This is an office-based position that offers a hybrid schedule from our Irving, TX office. The candidate will live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a high level of analytical ability, strong technical skills, multi-tasked manner of thinking, bring seasoned Project Management skills, be self-motivated and directed, a keen collaborator, and possess excellent administrative skills. They will have integrity, high motivation, proven ability to produce results in a highly deadline-oriented environment, creativity in Problem Solving and be mission-minded. An initiative-taking spirit and the ability to make sound independent judgment are critical for this role. The Senior Operations Director reports to and works in partnership with the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives.
Provides administrative and executive support to Executive Vice President of the SouthWest region.
Maintains calendars, schedules virtual and in-person meetings, and makes logistical arrangements necessary for internal and external meetings.
Works closely with Vice President of Strategic Initiatives to support the region board, this includes but is not limited to maintaining records of contact information, developing and updating meeting materials, scheduling board and committee meetings, and regularly communicating with high-level volunteers.
Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Acts as Project Manager for special projects as assigned by Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Executive Vice President.
Directs and engages staff and volunteer engagement to advance key initiatives of the SouthWest Region Board.
Develops and project manages prep materials to ensure the Executive Vice President is ready and equipped and has the information they need for important meetings and moments.
Works closely with Associate Executive Vice President (AEVP) on scheduling internal and external meetings and supplying AEVP with appropriate documents for internal staff and leadership meetings, as needed.
Schedules and organizes complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, and all staff activities for Executive Vice President of SouthWest, region board members, and other staff members, as assigned.
Assists with operational plans and Logistics for region-specific events, conferences, and summits.
Handles highly confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Maintains an orderly and intuitive system for correspondence and other documents.
Maintains accurate information relevant to internal meetings, board meetings and events.

Qualifications
Highschool diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
2 – 5 years of experience providing administrative support to multiple managers or executive level management with at least 1 year supporting senior/executive level management.
Experience preparing budget information, processing invoices, calculating, and processing expenses.
Proven ability in working and making decisions quickly and independently with little to no direct supervision.
Extremely strong interpersonal skills, particularly regarding the judgment, discretion, confidentiality, patience, and understanding necessary for dealing effectively with a diverse body of volunteers, donors, and professional colleagues; independence; and a strong team orientation toward both with internal and external constituencies.
Ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of staff, volunteers, and the public.
Ability to conceptualize, reason through problems, make effective decisions and develop alternative solutions.
Proven organizational skills, detail oriented and experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
Skilled in effective oral and written communications including conversing by telephone, video conferencing, business writing with clear and concise narrative reports, evaluations, and other narrative pieces.
Ability to lift 20lbs from ground to waist.
Must have knowledge and skills with Zoom webinar and meetings.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc. These skills are subject to testing.
