We are looking for a Analyst" id="link" class="link">Senior Marketing Analyst to join our growing team of Data Analytics experts and manage the processes and people responsible for accurate Data Collection, processing, modeling, and Analysis. The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company. It requires an understanding of advanced statistical methods, analytic techniques and the modeling and visualization tools mentioned below, together with the ability to apply such knowledge in the practical production of analyses the association can use to make business decisions, particularly in marketing and engagement.


Business & Campaign Data Analysis

Conducts advanced data analysis, providing regular updates on trends and recommendations to help achieve business objectives.

  • Assists Businesses and MarComm Leaders set clear and consistent objectives and KPIs.

  • Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and collaborates with analysist on custom CRM analyses.

  • Performs statistical analysis and presents analysis findings to executive leadership, sponsors, and/or internal clients.

  • Writes summary reports that interpret findings using interactive/dynamic dashboards created with tools like Tableau and Sprinklr.

  • Consistently monitors data, evaluates, and provides insights to business and/or campaign leaders.

  • Serves as SME for current, advanced analytics and presents novel research opportunities based on gaps in achieving targets.

Customer Data Analysis

Collects and analyzes customer data to ensure the quality of AHA data is well aligned with marketing programs.

  • Monitors Data Quality, data migrations and data integration to ensure the association’s database is segmented effectively for marketing activities.

  • Analyzes data using statistical methods such as logistic and linear regression; Customer Segmentation, GEE or random effects models for longitudinal or multilevel analysis, latent class group-based analyses, and analysis of “missing data.”

  • Decides and implements goals and methods for acquisition and retention of customers and stakeholders, including setting standards for ideas, development, execution and optimization of marketing campaigns.

Data Analytics

Serves as player/coach establishing standardized analytics processes and dashboards.

  • Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Acquires data from sources using Alteryx, Python

  • Generates reports using forecasting techniques, simulations modeling and predictive analytics.

  • Establishes and manages Tableau dashboards and analytic workflow projects such as Google Analytics, email journeys, scoring models, digital activity reports, channels summaries, etc.

  • Drives execution via marketing automation tools that leverage customer database and relationships.

  • Develops and manages data dictionaries and documentation of data reporting standards.

  • Assists in managing studies conducted internally and externally to evaluate the association’s brand relevancy and media campaigns.

Customer Segmentation - Manages the customer segmentation strategy to support campaign testing and analysis.

  • Analyzes customer touch point and maximizes opportunities for engagement by formulating recommendations that are grounded in Customer Experience (CX) with respect to the association’s brands and programs.

  • Creates data driven Business Development strategies by applying analyses and communicates results to convey insights into existing or potential strategies.

  • Identifies target audiences by collaborating cross-functionally with other teams to acquire their insights with respect to improved message targeting and generate buy-in for targeting decisions.


  • Seven (7) years of the following experience:

  • Strong Problem Solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of analysis techniques Experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data.

  • Five (5) years of the following experience:

  • Experience in marketing analysis such as market segmentation, predictive analytics, digital analytics, measurement, business intelligence, and/or market research

  • Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries

  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.

  • Experience and knowledge of statistical modeling techniques: GLM multiple regression, logistic regression, log-linear regression, variable selection, etc.

  • Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.

  • Proficient with Tableau, PowerBI

  • Proficient in SQL, Python/Alteryx/R

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Three (3) years of the following experience:

  • Management and/or Supervisory Experience

  • Google Analytics and other analytics tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four (4) years of the following experience:

  • Effective leadership, persuasion and prioritization skills.

  • Effective communication skills to present information to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent project management skills, with task and deadline orientation

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

  • Ability to multitask and work successfully in a matrix organization with competing priorities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
