We are hiring a Temporary Sr. Development Coordinator. This is a full-time, temporary assignment with an approximate end date of April 1, 2024. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our Core Team of fundraisers. The ideal candidate is detail oriented with skills in Data Entry and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word and mail merge. We're looking for someone with excellent customer service and time management.
This is a remote-based position within the SouthWest region states - Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible to:
Create customized letters using Microsoft Word Mail Merge features.
Connect with customers, participants and staff, and conduct phone calls.
Compile and enter data and prepare reports.
Develop, coordinate, and maintain record keeping and filing systems for area of responsibility.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year of experience working in an office environment providing basic administrative support procedures, communication, and data storage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Skill using Microsoft Mail Merge features.
Ability to adapt to various office environments.
Ability to compose correspondence and communications with appropriate grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Ability to engage and connect with various levels of public and private organizations including volunteers and government officials.
Knowledge of planning and scheduling travel accommodations.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected pay range will be $22.40 to $30.70 per hour. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
