ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Our dedicated local staff are ending Violence Against Women and girls and helping change lives, for good. We won’t stop until women and girls are out of danger, out of poverty and on track to create the future they want.

The role of Senior Resilience and Climate Specialist will have a strong understanding and practical experience of resilience and climate programming (including DRR, Sustainable Agriculture, urban resilience, climate adaptation, natural Resource Management etc) and resource mobilisation for an international organisation.

Strong understanding of, and experience in, feminist, and women- and Human Rights-based approaches.

Experience in documenting programme evidence and undertaking programme research.

Experience of strategic resilience and climate related policy efforts.

Experience of working in humanitarian contexts, including in conflict/insecure environments, on resilience and climate programming.

Please note that this role is being offered as a 2 year fixed term contract.
