Job Description
Crown Agents are looking to speak to experienced procurement professionals to participate on an upcoming bid. The Consultant’s main responsibility is to ensure that procurement procedures funded through the donor are carried out according to the Public Procurement and Assets Disposal Act of 2017 and Procurement Regulations of 2004, and with due regard to the principles of efficiency, economy and the achievement of value for money. Procurements will be implemented in accordance with the applicable Guidelines, including no-objection requirements. In addition, the Consultant will provide limited Technical Assistance to the donor procuring entities.

- Quarterly procurement update
- Technical assistance
- Reviewing procurement plans and budget
- Assist and train procuring entities
About you
Qualifications/experience- Masters’ degree in public procurement, contract Law, accounting or similar field, as applicable to the expert’s area of engagement
- Ten years of experience practicing public Procurement Management in the Eastern, Southern, or Central Africa
- Three previous assignments as senior expert in a procurement oversight agent capacity, each with a min. duration of three years, or similar experience
- Fluency in English
