Job Overview:
The Senior Manager, Fundraising Systems is a pivotal role within the Fundraising Department, responsible for leading the systems and donor support services that underpin a data-driven culture. This position is essential for implementing Change Management strategies that enhance operational efficiency and support revenue growth. The Senior Manager will oversee the Fundraising CRM(s) and reporting systems, ensuring that team members have the necessary tools to achieve their program goals effectively. This role also involves managing donor services, ensuring the optimal operation and enhancement of donor systems, and maintaining overall Data Management to support fundraising efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager will collaborate with staff to inform fundraising strategies and budgeting through comprehensive data Analysis. Responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate reporting for all operational needs within the Fundraising department, supervising Data Analysis activities, and developing new reporting and analytics strategies. The role requires managing and improving the operations of the Fundraising systems unit, leading ongoing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, the Senior Manager will work closely with the Director of Development to set goals and metrics, connect with budget holders to align departmental strategies, and keep abreast of fundraising and technology trends. People leadership is also a key responsibility, including hiring and developing team members, managing onboarding and training, and fostering a collaborative culture. The position involves relationship building with key stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring effective communication across departments. Data analysis and reporting are critical components, requiring the management of Data Collection, verification, and reporting processes, as well as the creation of quality control measures. The Senior Manager will also oversee operations and project management related to Fundraising CRMs, working with IT to implement technological solutions and ensure data security and privacy compliance.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess professional experience in Data Analytics and information systems, with a strong familiarity with database querying, data mining technologies, and statistical packages. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to convey complex data insights in accessible language to diverse audiences. A background in fundraising with experience in data analysis for donor/vendor pipelines is required, along with proficiency in visualization dashboard tools such as PowerBi or Tableau. Strong knowledge of technology tools and systems is necessary, as is experience in leading diverse teams and enhancing their performance through constructive feedback.

Educational Background:
A degree in business analytics, statistics, information systems, or equivalent professional experience is required for this position. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of data management principles and practices, as well as the ability to apply analytical skills to real-world fundraising challenges.

Experience:
The position requires significant professional experience in data analytics and information systems, particularly within a fundraising context. Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing projects that involve data analysis and reporting. Experience in a non-profit or humanitarian organization is highly desirable, as is familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities in fundraising environments.

Languages:
Proficiency in the English language is mandatory for this position. Additional language skills may be considered an asset, particularly in relation to the diverse communities served by MSF.

Additional Notes:
This is a permanent position with a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week. The salary grade for this role is Level 17 on the MSF Canada Salary Grid, with an annual salary range of $99,271 to $106,624, which is non-negotiable.
