Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prospecting and securing local corporate sponsorships and individual donations to meet fundraising goals.
- Engaging in the management of sophisticated Circle of Excellence/A-Level companies to enhance partnerships.
- Guiding and directing assigned staff to ensure they reach their goals effectively.
- Recruiting and leading executive volunteer leadership, as well as volunteer committees and event volunteers.
- Developing detailed profiles on top businesses within the market area and creating strategic plans to secure their involvement.
- Implementing digital experience/event Logistics based on national best practices to enhance engagement and participation.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Senior Development Director position should possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, outside sales, or a similar role within a non-profit organization.
- At least 1 year of experience in a management capacity, which may be included within the 3 years of related experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to both large and small groups effectively.
- Proficiency in analyzing numerical goals and fundraising reports, with skills in spreadsheet/database Analysis.
- Ability to travel locally up to 70% of the time, requiring reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Physical capability to lift and/or move large objects, with the understanding that assistance may be required for heavier items.
Educational Background:
