Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Content Editor will be responsible for a comprehensive set of duties, including but not limited to: 1. Editing and Proofreading: Edit and proofread all content to ensure accuracy, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and adherence to style guidelines. Collaborate with team members to review and enhance each other's work. 2. Brand Voice and Consistency: Maintain and uphold CARE's brand voice, ensuring consistency across all communication channels and audiences. 3. Ethical Guidelines: Ensure that all stories produced by CARE adhere to ethical storytelling guidelines. 4. Content Creation: Develop and edit high-quality narrative content and Associated Press (AP) style stories that effectively showcase CARE's programs and campaigns. 5. Newsletter Management: Oversee the creation and distribution of email newsletters, ensuring that the content is engaging, aligns with strategic goals, and reaches target audiences. 6. Analytics Management: Utilize Google Analytics and other third-party data tools to analyze content performance, making data-driven decisions to increase traffic and audience engagement. Contribute insights and learnings to overall reporting for campaigns. 7. Collaboration and Team Building: Work closely with media, Fundraising, and digital teams to produce cohesive and impactful content that aligns with CARE's mission and objectives.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field. Proficiency in AP style writing is essential, along with experience in using WordPress for Content Management. The ideal candidate should have a strong narrative storytelling ability and experience with email Marketing platforms and newsletter production. Proficiency in using Google Analytics and similar analytics tools is required, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Strong management skills in creative processes are also necessary to ensure the successful execution of content strategies.

Educational Background:
