Organizational Setting and Work Relationships The incumbent will be supervised by the Communication / PI Officer.  S/he will have frequent contacts involving the exchange of a wide range of information with colleagues within UNHCR as well as media, international organizations, academic institutions and private individuals.

Duties Coordinate and assist in administrative formalities related to procurement processes, payments, update and maintain budgetary information records, and liaise with suppliers of the Communications Unit.

Follow-up on administrative and logistical arrangements to organise events, such as massive awareness activities, workshops and conferences.

Draft routine correspondence and texts for the office's website and maintain information databases.

Compile and keep the Communications Unit contact list updated.

Follow-up on the Communications Unit e-mail account.

Follow-up to issues related with visibility items and materials (Design, printing, storage control). Assist in requisition of visibility items and materials, arrange for distribution together with the appropriate inventory records.

Contribute to the production of information materials, graphic and digital contents for social networks.

Provide support in programming tasks related to social media content.

Maintain up-to-date filing system and appointments diary.

Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications Years of Experience / Degree Level Required : minimum 2 year  of work experience relevant to the position with High School Diploma; or 1-year work experience relevant to the position with Bachelor or equivalent or higher.  Desirable relevant experience in NGOs, private sector, international agencies and public sector.

Education/Training Required: High School Diploma with desirable studies in Administrations, International Relations, Journalism, Political science, and/or other related field.

Desirable: Completion of UNHCR learning programmes or specific training relevant to functions of position.

Language Requirements Advanced Spanish and English skills.

Other skills Excellent communication and computer skills.

Excellent drafting skills as well as translation and interpreting skills.

Nationality: Argentinean or Temporary or Permanent Labour VISA with residence in Argentina.
