Job Posting Organization:The International Criminal Court (ICC) is a permanent international court established by the Rome Statute in 1998, located in The Hague, Netherlands. The ICC's mission is to investigate and prosecute individuals charged with the gravest crimes of concern to the international community, including genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and crimes of aggression. The Court aims to end impunity and hold those responsible accountable for their crimes, thereby contributing to the prevention of such crimes in the future. The Trust Fund for Victims (TFV), which is part of the ICC, mobilizes resources and implements reparations and other programs for the benefit of victims of crimes under the ICC's jurisdiction. The TFV is governed by a Board of Directors and supported by a Secretariat, which is administratively attached to the Registry of the ICC. The TFV currently operates programs in seven situations under the jurisdiction of the Court and implements programs responding to four reparation orders issued by ICC judges. The Secretariat is funded through the regular budget of the Court, sourced from assessed contributions by States Parties, and the programs for victims are funded through public and private contributions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Registry Intern include:
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support the Trust Fund for Victims.
- Assisting in the preparation of submissions before the Court, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Supporting contract management issues, which may involve reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Assisting in the organization and conduct of various meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Helping with Data Management, which may involve organizing and maintaining legal documents and records.
- Performing other tasks as assigned by the Legal Adviser or other senior staff members, contributing to the overall efficiency of the Trust Fund for Victims.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Registry Intern position must possess a law degree or be in the final stages of their studies at a recognized university. A strong academic record is expected, demonstrating the candidate's commitment to their legal education. While practical experience is not a prerequisite for selection, any relevant experience may be considered an asset, provided it does not exceed three years. Candidates should also possess strong legal analysis and drafting skills, the ability to adapt to a multicultural and multilingual working environment, and strong teamwork skills, including proactive communication and consultation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also required.
