Job Overview:
The Registry Intern position within the Human Resources Section of the ICC offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in Human Resources Management within an international legal context. The intern will be involved in various HR functions, particularly focusing on strategic workforce planning and the integration of technology in HR processes. The role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to the development of innovative HR solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Court's operations. Interns will work closely with experienced HR professionals and will have the chance to participate in ongoing projects that aim to improve HR services and support the Court's mission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for assisting in various tasks related to strategic workforce planning and HR technology. Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to process automation projects by helping to develop new online HR reporting tools and dashboards, as well as improving existing systems like SAP and SuccessFactors.
- Assisting in process Mapping as part of automation initiatives.
- Designing and developing promotional materials for online tools and dashboards, and participating in information sessions for users.
- Supporting the job families project by managing administrative tasks in collaboration with the team and external consultants.
- Conducting research to support different workforce planning projects.
- Engaging in team discussions and contributing ideas for continuous improvement in HR processes.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree or be in the final stages of a relevant study at a recognized university. A strong academic record is expected, and degrees in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, Communications, or Marketing are particularly encouraged. Other relevant academic qualifications will also be considered. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in human resources and technology, as well as a commitment to the values of the ICC.
Educational Background:
A degree or being in the final stages of a relevant study at a recognized university is required. Candidates are expected to have a very good academic performance record. Degrees in fields such as Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, Communications, or Marketing are strongly encouraged, but other academic backgrounds may also be accepted.
Experience:
The internship is aimed at candidates in the early stages of their professional careers, and practical experience is not a prerequisite for selection. However, any relevant practical experience may be considered an asset. The focus is on providing a learning opportunity rather than requiring extensive prior experience.
Languages:
Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, which are English and French, is required. A working knowledge of the other language is desirable. This requirement reflects the Court's commitment to maintaining a multilingual and multicultural working environment.

The internship is offered for a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of full-time work. Interns are required to support themselves financially during the internship, as the ICC does not provide any remuneration or reimbursement for expenses incurred.
