Job Overview:
The Regional Coordinator for Access to Products for Healthcare (APH) will play a crucial role in enhancing the accessibility, availability, affordability, appropriateness, and quality of healthcare products for populations served by MSF. This position is part of a new organizational model that aims to improve APH initiatives across the globe, particularly in the Europe, Middle East, and Northern Africa region. The coordinator will be responsible for gathering input for common priorities, designing and implementing APH initiatives, providing support to MSF entities, and maintaining an overview of APH initiatives while reporting on them annually. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to connect with various stakeholders to advance MSF's APH agenda.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Regional Coordinator will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including: 1. Contributing to MSF’s global approach to improving APH within their geographical area. 2. Monitoring and connecting with regional parties that can contribute to MSF’s APH agenda. 3. Leading the management of APH Structure initiatives in the region. 4. Supporting MSF program teams and offices in initiating their own APH-related activities. 5. Participating as a member of the APH Structure’s management team and providing regional perspectives for strategic planning. 6. Managing region-specific transnational and national APH projects and responding to support requests from field teams. 7. Analyzing APH problems and opportunities and designing strategies to address them. 8. Maintaining an overview of MSF APH initiatives and consolidating Analysis on trends and threats. 9. Building and maintaining a regional network outside MSF that contributes to APH objectives. 10. Ensuring effective collaboration between the APH regional hub and its MSF host entity.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects and initiatives. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. A deep understanding of healthcare access issues and experience in humanitarian contexts are essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate the ability to analyze and synthesize information to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Educational Background:
A relevant educational background is required, typically a degree in public health, International Relations, or a related field. Advanced degrees or specialized training in healthcare access or Humanitarian Assistance are highly desirable.

Experience:
Candidates should have significant experience in project management, particularly in the healthcare or humanitarian sectors. A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience is preferred, with demonstrated success in leading initiatives and managing teams in complex environments. Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is a plus.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in French or Arabic is highly desirable. Knowledge of additional languages relevant to the region will be considered an asset.

Additional Notes:
This is a full-time, fixed-term position with a contract duration of three years, potentially extendable for another three years. The starting date is as soon as possible, but no later than March 2025. The position is based in Brussels, Belgium, with a yearly gross salary range from EUR 75,670 to EUR 96,335, depending on relevant professional experience. Benefits will be based on MSF Belgium policies and practices.
