Job Overview:
The Region Development Consultant plays a pivotal role in the American Heart Association's Eastern States Region by collaborating with Senior Leadership to create and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for core field campaigns. This position is crucial for mentoring staff on best practices related to campaign products and developing impactful action plans that aim to exceed revenue targets. The consultant will serve as the primary expert in Heart Challenge and Socials campaigns, providing coaching, consultation, and strategic insights to drive significant revenue growth. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Region Development Consultant will be responsible for a variety of duties, including:
- Acting as the authority on campaign products, demonstrating a proven track record of achieving 7-figure year-over-year growth in Fundraising.
- Leading multiple initiatives and projects while providing strategic consultation to staff.
- Partnering with senior leadership to develop strategic growth plans for core field campaigns.
- Coaching and training field staff on best practices and outcomes to meet revenue goals.
- Analyzing campaign data and providing insights on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Developing and implementing solutions to drive revenue growth.
- Providing revenue forecasts and projections for campaigns across the region.
- Handling special projects as needed and maintaining oversight of campaign tracking.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a university or college degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for those with 5+ years of relevant experience in fundraising or sales. A successful history of raising over $1 million in revenue and leading Volunteer recruitment is essential. Applicants should have validated experience with key fundraising strategies, including business partner campaigns and sponsorship proposals. Strong influencing skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial, along with excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
Educational Background:
A university or college degree is preferred, although equivalent experience may be considered. The educational background should ideally include coursework or training relevant to fundraising, sales, or nonprofit management.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or a similar field.
