Job Description
An exciting leadership opportunity with NRC - Ukraine. NRC Ukraine is seeking to hire a national Product Development Coordinator (Cash & Markets) who will Assist and support implementation of the portfolio, Implement independently procedures and activities, and Develop and maintain knowledge and skills required for the assigned area of work.
Background:
The Norwegian Refugee Council has been present in Ukraine since 2014, helping more than 700,000 people with food, shelter, water, sanitation, and legal assistance. Rapid change of situation in February 2022 during which whole Ukraine became affected by the conflict required significant scale-up of Emergency programmes. In response to the large-scale of displacement of refugees fleeing Ukraine, NRC is in the process of setting up humanitarian operations for refugees arriving in Poland, Romania and Moldova. NRC will respond, focusing on an integrated approach that combines our sectoral areas of expertise – education, protection, urban displacement outside camps, Legal Aid (ICLA) and shelter – working to a great extent through local partners.
The bulk of NRC’s response is through Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance, leading to the creation of a regional Cash and Markets team who support the work carried out by the Ukraine Country Office Cash and Markets team. This regional team focuses on coherence (ensuring tools and approaches are standardised across the response), creativity (focusing on innovative thinking), collaboration (working with different departments and teams across NRC), accountability (being honest and transparent about challenges and successes) and creating an enabling environment whereby tools and skills are shared across NRC.
What you will do
Contribute to the development of detailed, user-friendly templates for documenting key information related to program needs and system requirements in a clear and coherent manner. Support in the creation and update of the product backlog which outlines next features and development bugs. Write test uses cases according to product requirements.Test new modules and related functions as they are developed(functional/UAT) and report bugs to the vendor as soon as possible. Assist in biweekly sprint meetings and other ad hoc meetings and coordinate the work of the members of the CRM development team. Contribute to the development of project workplans related to all aspects of technology Design and implementation.Ensure that all tasks are completed on time and according to expectations. Provide Technical Support and Capacity Building to country team on the usage of existing digital tools.Liaise with country team and product user to understand their usage of the products and challenges they face.We highly encourage you to learn more about the role: please review the detailed Job Description here.
What you will bring:
Minimum 3 years of experience working on digital projects.Ability to coordinate tasks and work processes and work with short deadlines.Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.Experience with facilitating and leading internal organisational processes.Fluency in English and Ukrainian, both written and verbal. Good understanding of Software Development processes.Demonstrated experience in quality assurance and functional product documentation is desired. Great capacity to plan, prioritize and multitask.Excellent team-working and communication skillsProactive and adaptable and have the ability to cope with stressful situations.Excellent computer literacy, including MS Office (Word and Excel, Microsoft 365 / Google Suite)What Makes This Position Attractive?
