Job Overview:
The Oracle Fusion Financial Analyst position at the American Heart Association is a critical role that involves collaboration with various departments, including Accounting, Finance, and Procurement. The primary responsibility of this position is to support, configure, enhance, test, and train users on finance-related business systems, particularly the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. The analyst will gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional requirements through detailed user stories or use cases. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Oracle Fusion Financial Analyst include performing configuration changes in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, managing customizations, building OTBI and Fusion Analytics reports, and providing user training. The analyst will support various Oracle modules such as Procurement, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and more. Key responsibilities also include assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, driving best practices for audit and SOX compliance, defining and executing test scripts, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements. The analyst will work cross-functionally to analyze, Design, and develop business solutions, provide analytical support for multiple projects, and lead integration and user acceptance testing with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the analyst will support business process transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency in critical activities.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Oracle Fusion Financial Analyst position must possess Oracle ERP Cloud experience across multiple modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and more. A minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle ERP is required, with at least 2 years specifically in Oracle Cloud SaaS. Candidates should have 5+ years of business Analysis experience, particularly in finance/accounting aspects of ERP systems. Proficiency in evaluating Oracle Fusion quarterly patches, managing Service Requests, and troubleshooting with Oracle support is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to analyze and prioritize product backlog, and experience with custom reports and dashboards are also required.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, Math, or a related field is required for this position.
