Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator - Procurement include adhering to NRC policies and guidelines, assisting with the implementation of the logistics function's portfolio, and managing a team of staff dedicated to procurement. The coordinator will prepare and develop status reports, ensure proper filing of support documents, and promote ideas for improvement within the logistics function. Specific responsibilities include ensuring all procurements comply with NRC logistics policies and donor regulations, preparing requests for quotations, managing the prequalification of service providers, and supporting the preparation of RFQs, tenders, and bid Analysis for complex purchases. The coordinator will also manage the waiver register, prepare payment requests, maintain proper files for procurement documents, check and receive purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, vet suppliers, and follow up with suppliers for material delivery. Additionally, the coordinator will support procurement assistants/officers in direct purchases and conduct supervisory visits to field offices as needed.
Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the Logistics Coordinator - Procurement position include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a humanitarian organization, specifically in procurement.
