Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Laboratory Supervisor include:
  • Participating in project planning and follow-up, including reviewing and managing the laboratory budget as needed.

  • Performing laboratory tests and sample collection according to medical prescriptions, while ensuring Quality Control measures are in place.

  • Registering and managing laboratory activities in the absence of the laboratory manager, utilizing management tools effectively to track progress and outcomes.
  • Supervising laboratory staff processes, including recruitment, training, evaluation, and professional development.
  • Ensuring that all staff are qualified and trained in the use of Medical Devices, and reporting any malfunctions or issues that arise.
  • Producing regular reports on testing activities and addressing any personnel or material issues that may impact laboratory operations.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the Laboratory Supervisor position include:
  • An essential degree as a Laboratory Technician, demonstrating the necessary educational background for the role.
  • Proficiency in local and mission languages, which is essential for effective communication within the team and with patients.
  • Essential computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet usage, to manage laboratory data and reports effectively.

Educational Background:
