Job Overview:
The IT Support Specialist will play a crucial role in the day-to-day support and Administration of MSF Canada's IT infrastructure and services. This position involves championing the development, implementation, documentation, and support of technology solutions tailored for MSF Canada. The specialist will be responsible for providing support to employees across various areas, including local and cloud-based computer systems and applications. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of IT services within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The IT Support Specialist will have a range of responsibilities, including: collaborating with the IT team on new technology solutions and projects; coordinating and performing hands-on fixes at the desktop level, which includes installing and upgrading software and hardware; providing first-level Help Desk services for software and hardware issues to minimize downtime; supporting the MSF Canada Office 365 Collaborative environment, including SharePoint and O365 applications; troubleshooting errors and fixing system issues; performing routine maintenance on user desktops and laptops, including account creation and support; and ensuring that all IT services are delivered effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of the organization.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate fluency in both English and French. They should have experience in intermediate Technical Support or technology Coordination roles. Knowledge and experience with SharePoint administration, rights management, and IDaaS solutions are essential. Additionally, candidates should possess advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Windows and MAC OS, networking topologies like TCP/IP, Internet applications, Active Directory, Azure, and the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with various hardware, applications, and technologies, including Exchange, Windows/MAC/Server OS’s, and VMWare, is also required. Familiarity with VoIP, cell phone technology, videoconferencing, HTML/CSS/PHP/JavaScript, anti-virus and firewall security, and virtual private networking is desirable. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.

Educational Background:
