Job Overview:
The IT Project Management Intern will work under the direct supervision of the Enterprise and Solutions Architect within the Information Management Services Section of the ICC. This Internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management within an international legal context. The intern will assist in updating project documentation, organizing project meetings, and drafting communications. The role is designed to provide insight into the workings of an IT organization, including technical architecture development and requirements elicitation. Interns will also have the chance to engage with various stakeholders, enhancing their understanding of project management processes and IT operations in a multicultural environment. This position is ideal for candidates looking to develop their skills in IT project management while contributing to the ICC's mission of promoting justice and accountability.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for supporting the following tasks:
  • Updating project documents, including project plans, issues lists, and risk registers.
  • Organizing and participating in project meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Following up on action items and updating the Action List to track progress.
  • Drafting meeting minutes and project communications to maintain clear records of discussions and decisions.
  • Assisting with any other duties assigned by the supervisor, which may include supporting technical architecture development and the technical configuration of tools. The intern will also have the opportunity to learn about various aspects of IT operations and project management, gaining valuable experience in a professional setting.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree or be in the final stages of their studies at a recognized university, with a strong academic record. A background in IT or Project Management is preferred, although not mandatory. The ICC values candidates who demonstrate a service-oriented attitude, adaptability to multicultural environments, and strong teamwork skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential, and candidates should exhibit a results-oriented mindset, willing to go the extra mile to fulfill commitments.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to have completed or be nearing completion of a degree from a recognized university. The educational background should ideally be in fields related to IT, Project Management, or other relevant disciplines.
