Job Overview:
The Interim Manager of Foundations and Corporate Partnerships will play a crucial role in the development and growth of MSF Canada's portfolio over the next five years. This position involves managing existing partnerships while also cultivating new Strategic Partnerships and corporate giving programs. The manager will oversee all stewardship and Donor Relations activities related to corporate partners that support MSF Canada. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Interim Manager include overseeing and leading the Corporate Partnerships Officer, Foundations Officer, and Corporate and Foundations Coordinator. The manager will be responsible for managing and growing the existing portfolio, developing strategies for solicitation, stewardship, and engagement. They will lead all aspects of grant proposal development and submission, initiate and develop new partnerships, and oversee the implementation of the Annual Plan (AP). Additionally, the manager will create and implement the Corporate and Foundation Partnerships portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with MSF Canada's mission and goals.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to MSF's principles, including cross-cultural awareness and service orientation. Fluency in English is required, along with experience in major gift Fundraising, relationship management, and securing annual five-figure gifts from Foundations and Corporate partners. A demonstrated understanding of the fund development process and moves management, particularly as it relates to Foundations and Corporations, is essential. Experience in successfully leading a diverse team and enhancing motivation, development, and performance through constructive feedback is also required.
Educational Background:
