The Human Resources Director (HR Director) position at the American Heart Association is a pivotal role that serves as a business partner and Advisor to leaders and employees across the Midwest region. This role is integral in developing and implementing human resources strategies that align with the Association's goals. The HR Director will lead various HR programs and regional learning and development activities, focusing on leadership development and facilitating virtual training sessions. The position is designed to be home-based within the 13-state Midwest region, which includes states such as Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Duties and Responsibilities:
The HR Director will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including providing support to employees throughout their lifecycle, conducting check-in calls, assisting with Development Plans, and processing departures.
