Job Overview:
The HR Admin Officer (Staff Learning and Development) plays a crucial role in implementing the support functions of Human Resource management, specifically focusing on learning and development to enhance staff capacity. This position involves overseeing the Administration of staff training and development programs, ensuring that all employees receive the necessary training to perform their roles effectively. The officer will work closely with various departments and field offices to coordinate training initiatives, track staff performance, and maintain training records. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying learning needs and facilitating the development of training materials and programs that align with NRC's objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The HR Admin Officer will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Implementing NRC's mandatory Training Programs on Code of Conduct (CoC), Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), and anti-corruption for all staff members.
- Overseeing the administration of staff learning and development initiatives at the country level, supporting all areas and field offices.
- Acting as the focal point for NRC's mandatory training on the KAYA platform, ensuring staff compliance and tracking completion rates.
- Managing staff performance by identifying learning and development needs, coordinating with area offices to address these needs effectively.
- Facilitating the NRC Ways Induction and coordinating Training of Trainers (TOT) sessions across different areas and field offices.
- Maintaining an updated Training Calendar and monitoring staff capacity-building efforts.
- Preparing and submitting monthly reports on training activities and staff development progress.
- Performing any additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager or Country Management, adapting to changes in context or operational focus.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the HR Admin Officer position should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a human resource role, particularly in learning and development.
- Familiarity with staffing learning induction, orientation, and training development processes.
- Previous experience in complex and volatile contexts, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
- Documented results related to the responsibilities of the position, showcasing the ability to achieve objectives.
- Basic knowledge of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- A result-oriented approach, focusing on achieving outcomes and improving processes.
Educational Background:
A Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Administration is required for this position. This educational background provides the foundational knowledge necessary for effective human Resource Management and staff development.
