Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES The Finance Head of Department will have to directly line manage a deputy Finance HoD and a Finance Administrator Coonsortium. And be Technical Support for the rest of the team in capital and at field level.

Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director, you will be in charge of ensuring sound and transparent Administration of funds by providing accounting and financial management consistent with the ACF financial management framework and local legislation. More specifically, you will be in charge of: Contributing to the definition of mission strategy Ensuring high quality accounting for the mission Ensuring high quality Cash Management for the mission Providing financial and budgetary management Promoting and ensuring financial collaboration and Coordination with mission partners Preventing and managing fraud and corruption Managing the Finance team in capital and be Technical/Support Manager of Finance Managers in the bases REQUESTED PROFILE You hold a degree in Finance, Administration, Humanitarian Action or similar field. You have a successful experience in humanitarian sector as Coordinator" id="link" class="link">Finance Coordinator in emergency and insecure context. You hold a strong understanding of finance and HR procedures. You are recognize for your ability to grasp a wide range of complex issues and synthetize them strategically. Open minded and flexible, you can demonstrate a high degree of autonomy and you are result oriented.

Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus, you are confident with Microsoft tools. Knowledge on SAGA software is an asset.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY Salaried - French legislation contract Remuneration and benefits :
  • Monthly gross salary from 2450 EUR to 2800 EUR upon experience.
  • Per diem and living allowance: 600EUR (cf eurocost) net, field paid.
  • * 12 % of monthly gross salary as country allowance
  • * 16% of monthly gross salary as reimbursement of retirement insurance for non-French citizen.
  • * Child allowance, limited to 5 children
Transportation and accommodation:
  • Coverage of transportation costs to and in the mission.
  • Individual room in guesthouse covered
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of medical expenses + repatriation insurance.

Leaves and RnR:
  • 25 days of paid leaves per year.
  • * 20 RnR per year.
  • * 215 EUR at each RnR period (averagely every 3 months)
  • Coverage of the transportation expenses to the RnR area of reference.
Training :
  • Free and unlimited access to the certifying e-learning platform Crossknowledge ©
  • Technical trainings at HQ or regional level (averagely 1 per year).
  • Intermission Workshop once a year.
  • Opportunity of coaching (DP) or mentorship.
  • Participation to external trainings costs upon eligibility of the request.
