Job Overview:
As a Field Coordinator in Dnipro, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective functioning of the project site and the successful implementation of programs. Your responsibilities will include overseeing safety and security measures, coordinating program activities, managing Human Resources, and providing logistical, administrative, and financial support. You will represent PUI to partners, authorities, and local actors, and will be involved in strategy development and assessments to identify new interventions based on the needs in your area. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to challenging circumstances.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safety & Security: Ensure the safety and security of the project site and implement necessary measures to protect staff and beneficiaries.
- Program Coordination: Oversee the implementation of programs at the site, ensuring they align with PUI's objectives and standards.
- Human Resources Management: Supervise national and international staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Logistical, Administrative, and Financial Oversight: Manage logistical and administrative processes, ensuring compliance with PUI procedures and effective use of resources.
- Representation: Act as the primary representative of PUI in the area, engaging with local authorities, partners, and stakeholders.
- Information Management: Centralize and disseminate information related to the site, and prepare internal and external reports for your supervisor.
- Strategy Development: Participate in the development of strategic plans and propose new interventions based on field assessments.
- Coordination and Follow-up: Ensure solid coordination efforts and follow up on security situations, adapting operations as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: A Master’s degree or equivalent in Humanitarian Action, project management, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in project coordination with international NGOs, with a preference for candidates who have worked in similar roles or have experience with PUI.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of humanitarian project management, team management, and donor requirements. Excellent writing and communication skills are essential.
- Personal Qualities: Strong leadership abilities, good decision-making skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in unstable environments.
Educational Background:
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as humanitarian action, project management, or a technical background related to PUI's activity sectors, including human resources or Financial Management.
Experience:
The position requires at least 1 year of relevant experience in project coordination within international NGOs. Experience in managing international teams and handling project and security management is highly valued. Previous experience as a Field Coordinator or in a similar role is considered an asset, particularly if the candidate has worked with PUI before.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of Arabic and/or French is considered a significant asset, enhancing the candidate's profile for the role.

This is a short-term contract for 6 months, starting from January 1, 202
- The position is based in Dnipro, Ukraine. The monthly gross income ranges from 2,650 to 3,130 EUR, depending on the candidate's experience in international solidarity, with an additional 50 EUR per semester for seniority with PUI. Benefits include medical insurance, housing in a guesthouse, daily living expenses (per diem), a break policy allowing for 5 working days every 2 months, and 5 weeks of paid leave per year, along with a return ticket every 6 months for missions lasting 8 months or longer.
