For more information, visit IFC's Human Resources (HR) Department provides strategic partnership to the business to develop and implement workforce strategies and meet organizational goals, including attracting, developing and deploying diverse and skilled talent. Led by the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Resources, the IFC HR team delivers products and support that meet the business needs of IFC across the following areas:
  • Client Services - offers strategic HR partnership, program implementation, support and solutions to staff and management globally;
  • Talent and Incentives - designs best practice HR solutions in onboarding, career management and mobility, performance/Talent Management, incentives and awards, and leadership development;
  • Strategic Initiatives - manages key HR initiatives, such as Board engagement, fragile and conflict states, workforce planning, position management and people analytics and reporting; and
  • Employment Framework and Recruitment - designs and implements HR programs in the areas of HR strategy, policies and procedures, departmental project and knowledge management, diversity and inclusion, and talent acquisition.
We are seeking an Extended Term Consultant for Talent & Incentives to Design, develop & support the creation of digital learning content for the Learning & Careers programs. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with excellent digital and communication skills. The selected candidate will work closely with the Program Lead for Careers, Learning & Mentoring and report to Manager, Talent & Incentives team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop digital learning content from storyboard through to launch
  • Visualize content in digital formats and provide creative direction to other team members and external contractors.
  • Work with clients and HR peers to analyze learning needs and design a digital solution
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively to develop a polished product
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once and finding solutions that create efficiencies in the digital production processes
  • Create, plan and support virtual and F2F learning events
  • Comfortable working with teams to estimate time to complete various tasks during project scoping
  • Identify and manage vendors and internal suppliers
Monitor license requirements with external vendors for digital content Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned Selection Criteria

  • Experience using off-the-shelf e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Rise and Storyline or Adobe Captivate is a must.
  • Master's degree in Adult Learning, IT, Human Resources or related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience focused on Digital Learning Content Development, preferably in a global organization; private sector experience is an advantage
  • Able to ask questions that uncover clients' needs and technical requirement for digital content.
  • Experience with the development of digital learning solutions integrated with industry standard learning API's including SCORM and xAPI
  • Experience developing digital learning solutions for use in learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Experience with modern web development techniques, technologies, and front-end frameworks including HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience in setting up, managing and evaluating events (both F2F and Virtual)
  • Able to manage vendor partnerships and client stakeholders as needed.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to "make things happen"; ability to organize large volumes of work and set priorities under conflicting pressures;
  • Professional integrity, willingness and flexibility to 'roll-up your sleeves' to engage in all aspects of required work from identification and design to implementation; and
  • Self-starter, multi-tasker and team player.
Note: The selected candidate will be offered a one-year appointment, renewable for an additional one year, at the discretion of the World Bank Group, and subject to a lifetime maximum ET Appointment of two years. If an ET appointment ends before a full year, it is considered as a full year toward the lifetime maximum. Former and current ET staff who have completed all or any portion of their second-year ET appointment are not eligible for future ET appointments.
