Job Description
NRC is looking for an Education Project Manager to join the Myanmar mission. The role holder will be responsible for the implementation of the Education project portfolio in the South-East. If you are an influential people leader; with diplomatic negotiation skills; and a track record in directing education projects, leading people, and managing budgets, then this is the role for you! **This position is open to Myanmarese / Burmese Nationals only**
What You Will Do
Programme Implementation – 40% (Project Implementation, budget management, complimentary programming with other thematic areas, ensuring Monitoring and Evaluation, continuous improvement and lessons learnt, ensuring quality programming, and compliance with reporting). Team Management – 30% (management of the South-East Education Team, provision of technical advice, and Capacity Building). Partnership Management – 20% (focal point for partners, build and maintain relationships, identify new partners, support in objectives, compliance, and programme quality, provide technical advice, and capacity building). Proposal Development & Strategy – 5% (education Strategic Planning, program development, proposals, and budgets). Representation (represent the organization in external Coordination forums).What You Will Bring
Senior-level project implementation experience position in a humanitarian/recovery context. Technical Education thematic area expertise. Budget management experience. Partnership management experience. Complex, and volatile context exposure. English fluency, both written and verbal.What Makes This Position Attractive?

What We Offer
Hpa-an, Kayin State, Myanmar duty station. 12-month contract duration. 50% travel, approximately. Grade 8 in NRC’s Salary Scale. NRC offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
