We have an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Development Director-Heart Ball in Oklahoma City. The selected candidate will lead Fundraising for the Oklahoma City Heart Ball campaign bringing together corporate partners, medical leaders, community leaders, and community volunteers to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke, the number #1 and #5 killers in America. This year’s goal is $300,000 net. If you have a strong fundraising or sales background where you traveled in an assigned territory OR if you have an event Coordination background coupled with sales or fundraising, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:

  • Revenue generation and Volunteer management for the Heart Ball event
  • Conducting sales calls to generate new business and manage existing companies
  • Developing relationships with volunteers and sponsors as well as key corporate and community leaders
  • Expanding our reach into the philanthropic community to raise funds and awareness.
  • Event Management, planning and Logistics for the Heart Ball event, which is typically an upscale gala attended by 500+ people
  • Networking within the local area to recruit and retain valued volunteers
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred. College coursework combined with related experience may be substituted for a degree. Related experience may be substituted as follows: 1 ½ years’ experience equates to 1 full time year of higher education.
  • Must have at least 3+ years of experience in fundraising, outside sales or in a non-profit organization in a similar capacity. This experience may also count towards satisfying this position’s educational
  • Ability to accomplish results through strong volunteer recruitment and management, proven track record in meeting sales/fundraising goals.
  • Organization, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Candidates must be results driven with the ability to multitask.
  • Must have the ability to lift at least 20 lbs. from the ground to waist level with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must have at least basic knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
