The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Development Coordinator, School Engagement . This position will provide administrative support to our programs throughout Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, and Uta h. This is home office/local office and field based role and involves regular work performed from home, local office and remote locations for business meetings and events that can be outdoors. This position may involve frequent local travel during peak event season.
The Development Coordinator is responsible for advancing the American Heart Association's mission through providing administrative, Data Management and Logistics support of School Engagement campaigns and events in collaboration with internal and external partners to achieve overall team and affiliate goals. This includes providing expert support to internal and external partners and involves significant organization and planning, attention to detail, timeline management and facilitating effective communication across team members and external customers.

Responsibilities
Provides a wide variety of skilled logistical, administrative, clerical and data Management Support to assigned campaigns and events, ensuring team functions run efficiently and customer needs are met. Ensures a high quality of service is provided to all staff, volunteers and other external and internal customers.
Coordinates the servicing of participating and prospective schools including delivery and pick up of supplies and donations.
Manages customer and campaign information utilizing systems accurately, timely and completely in accordance with established guidelines.
Creates correspondence and manages event/program collateral and supplies with precise attention to detail.
Responsible for accurate, timely processing of donations in accordance with established requirements and standards.
Proactively ensures timely communication with internal and external partners and customers, supporting collaboration in account management and activities to achieve shared goals.
Perform kick off assemblies or other appearances at schools during events to promote the Fundraising.
Attend health fairs or other community events and meetings to help further the mission of the American Heart Association.
Qualifications
Demonstrated track record in project management with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet specified timelines.
Demonstrated administrative expertise with complex clerical responsibilities and data management.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Effective interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop collaborative working relationships internally and externally.
Ability to organize, plan and execute programs.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to regularly lift supplies of up to 25 pounds.
