We have an excellent temporary opportunity for a temporary Development Coordinator based in our Louisville office . The position will provide administrative support and also handle general office management/reception responsibilities. This position is full time and offers a hybrid schedule through March 1, 2024 .

Responsibilities

  • Assist staff with day-to-day tasks that support Fundraising and volunteer recruitment/management activities, including customer relationship management.

  • Assist in volunteer committee management. Will require attending/supporting after some hours meetings. On average 1-2 per month.

  • Volunteer Recruitment

  • Coordinate Logistics for select events including pre-, day-of, and post- event duties with external Volunteers, Vendors, Event Guests, and Internal Staff.

  • Develops, inputs, and maintains information in appropriate Computer Software programs, including a CRM and event specific software.

  • Handle report generation, including manipulating data from multiple systems.

  • Handle financial tasks, including paying invoices, tracking expenses, and processing donations.

  • Work alongside staff to assist in calendar management and scheduling.

  • Develop event materials as needed.

  • Perform general office duties as part of an administrative group rotation.

  • Coordinate logistics for digital experiences/events including pre-, day-of, and post- digital experience/event duties.

  • Solicit/request auction items. Receive and manage auction items including entering into event system, taking photos, creating auction package descriptions.

  • Perform office management duties including processing ingoing and outgoing mail, handling incoming calls, maintaining supply and materials, and working with vendors on any office-related needs.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related administrative experience.

  • Must have earned a high school diploma or GED.

  • Experience and skill in using a Database Management system, preferably a CRM specific program.

  • Must have at least intermediate knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office used for word processing, email, presentations, and spreadsheets. Advanced knowledge and skill with these programs is preferred. These skills are subject to testing.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects.

  • Skill and ability in providing customer service at an excellent level to internal and external customers and partners.

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20lbs.
