Job Description

Professional Experience and Competencies: Essential: 1. Proven track-record of at least 5 years of professional experience in one or more areas of return and readmission, including: • Identity management, including civil registers, national databases and travel document and issuance systems • Automated systems and standard procedures for case processing including Readmission Case Management Systems (RCMS) • Immigration and Border Management using modern technology, facilitating inter-connectivity and datasharing • Migration Data Management • Biometrics in Migration Management • Technical assistance on return management to EU Member States, countries of origin and/or transit • Design, implementation and/or evaluation of awareness raising campaigns on return migration • Strategic Communication on migration • Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) • Post-arrival reintegration assistance (PARA) • Monitoring and Evaluation in the area of return and readmission • Data Protection regulations, including GDPR compliance 2. Sound knowledge of migration issues in the context of the European Union and globally 3. Professional experience in cooperation with governments, national authorities and/or institutions on return management issues 4. Proven experience working in an international setting 5. Knowledge of EU return and readmission policy and legal frameworks including readmission agreements/arrangements Desirable: 6. Experience with relevant EU agencies or a national Ministry of Interior in charge of processing readmission applications 7.
