We are looking for national Ukranian Communication and Media Officer who will provide direct support to the Communications and Media Coordinator in the implementation of NRC’s internal and external communication initiatives. In particular, drafting, editing and translating communications materials, social Media Management and monitoring of campaign coverage.Implement delegated communication function portfolio according to the plan of action Prepare and develop status reports as required by management Contribute to the identification of specific protection risks and needs analyses Contribute to designing of protection response to identified risks and needs. Gather audio visual content, written stories and case studies of NRC activities for the development of public and/ or internal information materials. Administer NRC’s communications channels (mail, Facebook messenger). Support the implementation of a Social Media Strategy that aligns with NRC goals, including the preparation of social media posts, calendar and performance analytics. Provide support to programmes vis-à-vis developing and disseminating quality Public Information materials. Assist with drafting, translating and proofreading booklets, brochures, leaflets, reports, infographics and other materials. Assist the Media and Communications Coordinator with the development of high-quality visibility products. Edit photos, infographics or other visual materials as required. Monitor national and international media.

Experience in humanitarian, civil society, government, Human Rights sectors would be an asset. Bachelor's degree or Higher education in a field of in Journalism/communication, political studies, human rights or any relevant subject or demonstrated relevant experience in lieu of official academic background. Experience in social media management and Media Monitoring tools. Proficient knowledge of Ukrainian. Advanced knowledge of English would be an advantage. Experience in translation and interpretation would be an advantage. Knowledge of photo and video management software (Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, etc) would be an advantage. Pro-active approach and willingness to learn.
