Job Overview:
The position of Chargé(e) des Partenariats Privés involves working within the Partnerships Service of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL, which aims to mobilize resources from private actors (including companies and foundations) to support the humanitarian objectives and activities of the organization. The role requires a strong understanding of philanthropy both in France and internationally, as well as experience in Resource Mobilization from businesses or foundations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing a network of external contacts within the private sector, representing the organization at events related to the private sector, and prospecting for new partners while maintaining relationships with historical partners. The position also involves researching funding opportunities from the private sector to support humanitarian programs and activities, managing donations and grants, and ensuring contractual and administrative compliance with partnership agreements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The main duties and responsibilities of the Chargé(e) des Partenariats Privés include:
- Developing and managing a network of external contacts within the private sector in France and internationally.
- Representing SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL at events or forums related to the private sector.
- Prospecting for new partners and maintaining relationships with historical partners of the organization.
- Researching funding opportunities from the private sector to support humanitarian programs and activities.
- Developing skills sponsorship and monitoring missions carried out alongside requesting departments within the headquarters.
- Managing and monitoring donations and grants.
- Ensuring contractual and administrative compliance with partnership agreements to ensure exemplary accountability to SI's partners.
- Collaborating closely with various teams within the organization to ensure the effective implementation of projects with partners.
Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include:
- A university degree related to the position (e.g., Marketing, business school, International Relations, Law, etc.).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an association or foundation in roles related to Fundraising, philanthropy, and partnerships with the private sector.
- A very good understanding of the philanthropic landscape in France and internationally.
- Strong negotiation and diplomatic skills.
- Analytical skills and excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of corporate expectations regarding CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and sponsorship.
- Humanitarian or development experience would be a plus.
Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a university degree in a field relevant to the position, such as marketing, business Administration, international relations, or law. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of partnership management and resource mobilization in the humanitarian sector.
Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an association or foundation, specifically in roles related to fundraising, philanthropy, and partnerships with the private sector. This experience is crucial for effectively managing partnerships and mobilizing resources for humanitarian activities.
Languages:
Fluency in French and English is mandatory for this position. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both languages, as they will be engaging with partners and stakeholders in both domestic and international contexts. Additional language skills would be considered an asset but are not required.
Additional Notes:
The position is based at the headquarters of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in Clichy la Garenne, with occasional travel to field locations. It is a permanent contract (CDI) with a managerial status. The gross monthly salary ranges from €2,865 to €2,985, depending on the candidate's experience and the organization's salary scale. There is an option for remote work, allowing for 4 to 12 days of telecommuting per month, or 100% remote work with 3 mandatory in-person days per month. The organization offers generous leave entitlements, including 2.0833 vacation days per month and 1 RTT day for each full month worked. Additional benefits include a health insurance plan covering 80% of costs, meal vouchers (60% covered), and transportation subsidies for Île de France (50% covered). The organization also provides recovery days and full medical coverage during field missions.
